Sharon Teo, Muar, Johor. Principal of Sixstrings Music, has been a piano instructor since the age of 16 years old after completing her grade 8 piano in ABRSM and having studied her Diploma in Trinity Music. She began her professional teaching career in a UK affiliated Preschool and has become very experienced in teaching young children there. Her training in Classical music has given her a solid foundation to continue to branch out into teaching contemporary music either play by ear or through Rockschool Syllabus.

She has since organised many concerts for schools, preparing and encouraging students, giving them a platform to step out of their shells and confidently show off the talented side of them.

Her passion is to instil and nurture confidence and discipline in her students through music, that she believes is essential in all areas of one’s life.
